A Super "Souper Bowl" At Kings Lanes

It was another successful Souper Bowl. Not the one in Miami -- today's early morning event at Norfolk's bowling alley -- Kings Lanes sponsored by Lite Rock 97.5 and 106 KIX. For the third year in a row, the Vulcraft Vultures rolled the best game with Riviera Raceway/ Busy B Auto Sales coming in a close second. Thirty-one, four-person teams bowled in the 6 a.m. charitable event. Participants brought in nearly 2,100 cans of non-perishable food as their entry fee with the Hy-Vee Hippies contributing the most with 523 items. All the food items have been donated to the Salvation Army's Soup Kitchen.
