Nebraska coach Bo Pelini will unveil his 2010 recruiting class at a news conference this afternoon. The Cornhuskers could sign up to 20 players. Running back Braylon Heard of Youngstown, Ohio, and offensive lineman Andrew Rodriguez of Aurora are among the top prospects who have pledged to sign. Recruiting analysts project the Huskers to have a class ranked among the top 30 nationally. That rating could get a big boost if a couple uncommitted star prospects sign with Nebraska. Chief among them are 6’3, 234-pound defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa of Portland, Ore., and 6’2, 203-pound safety Corey Cooper of Maywood, Ill.

The Knights will take on Pierce in the semifinals on Friday at Northeast Community College at 7:45. Other scores in the tournament saw Pierce whip Boone Central 47-17, Hartington Cedar Catholic cruise past Madison 101-26, and Wayne top West Point Central Catholic 73-52.
