Zimmerer Tapped as New Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce President, CEO

NORFOLK - The Norfolk Area Chamber of Commerce has a new President and CEO, and they didn't have to go far to find him.  The Chamber’s Chairman, Scott Williams says Mark Zimmerer has accepted the position that has been vacant since the resignation of Dennis Houston in November.  Zimmerer currently serves on the Chamber Board of Directors as well as on several in-house committees.  Professionally, Zimmerer built the Child Advocacy Center at Faith Regional Health Services from the ground-up and was most recently the Director of Occupational Health at Faith Regional.  Williams says once Zimmerer gets settled in to his new position, the Norfolk Chamber will focus on improving the programs already in place including the Buy Local and Grow Norfolk campaigns.
