Woman Arrested, Child Placed in Protective Custody
NORFOLK - A two-year-old child has been placed in protective custody after her mother was arrested for drug possession. Norfolk Police Captain Michael Bauer reports that Tanianna Krivolavek, 28, of 922 Syracuse Apartment 3 was arrested about 8:41 yesterday morning after officers were called to check on the welfare of a child. Officers located drug paraphernalia associated with methamphetamine, and a white powder that tested positive for meth. Krivolavek was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and child abuse. She was taken to the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail. The child was placed with the Department of Health and Human Services.
