Winter Weather Advisory
NORFOLK- Accumulating snowfall is expected this afternoon through Friday morning. Snowfall of 3 to 5 inches is expected over Northeast Nebraska and a small part of central Iowa. An area of low pressure will move through the region and bring the necessary ingredients for accumulating snow and cold temperatures. Snow will develop through the day today and linger into Friday morning. The area will be in a Winter Weather Advisory from noon today until 6 a.m. tomorrow. Areas included in the advisory are Albion, Bloomfield, Crofton, Hartington, Norfolk, Randolph, Stanton, St. Edward, Neligh, Pierce Plainview, Osmond, West Point, Wausa, Wayne and Wisner. A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will mainly cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Drivers are urged to use caution while driving and allow ample time to reach your destination.
