Wednesday Is Kiwanis Popcorn Sale Day
NORFOLK - Nothing smells or tastes quite as good as freshly popped popcorn, and members of the Norfolk Morning Kiwanis want to make sure you have plenty of popcorn for the rest of the winter season. Tomorrow is Kiwanis Popcorn Sale Day, and members will be calling on businesses throughout the day, offering 24-packs of Morrison Farms popcorn for a $20 donation. Two varieties will be available - traditional butter and butter-light. Popcorn sales are the major source of funding for various Kiwanis community activities. Money raised will be used to help develop youth as leaders, to support youth activities in the community, and to raise funds to provide needed items for children in the Norfolk area.
