UNL chancellor wants to increase enrollment to 30,000
LINCOLN - University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Harvey Perlman says the Lincoln campus needs to grow...and not just for growth's sake. Perlman told business leaders in Lincoln that plans call for the campus of nearly 25,000 to 30,000 in order to stay competitive in the Big Ten and to attract more talented students. Nebraska is the smallest of the public universities in the Big Ten Conference. The master plan for growth targets student amenities as well as academics.
