Two Arrested with Stolen Vehicle

NORFOLK - Two Norfolk residents were arrested early this morning and charged with stealing a vehicle in Stanton County. Police Captain Mike Bauer reports that 19-year-old Kayla Clark and 23-year-old Kody Bromley were arrested at 1406 Country Club Road in connection with the theft of a 2002 Chevy Tahoe Monday evening.  Bauer says both were charged with theft by receiving stolen property with a value of more than $1,500.  Clark was also charged with possession of a controlled substance after glass smoking pipes with a residue that tested positive for methamphetamine were found in her possession. Bauer says the keys to the stolen Tahoe were found under the seat in the patrol car used to transport Bromley to the Norfolk City Jail, and officers believe the suspect dumped them there. Bromley and Clark were taken to the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
