Transient Woman Arrested with Drug Paraphernalia

NORFOLK - A 27-year-old woman originally stopped for shoplifting in Norfolk has been charged with drug possession. Police Chief Bill Mizner reports that Abigail Linke was arrested about 7:30 last night after staff at Wal-Mart observed her concealing cosmetic items in her purse and noticed drug paraphernalia when she removed the shoplifted items. Mizner says Linke, who is considered to be a transient, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a legend drug, shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is also the subject of a Sarpy County warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. Linke was booked into the Norfolk City Jail and later transported to the Madison County Jail.
