Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest
NORFOLK - A routine traffic stop in Norfolk last night led to the arrest of a 20-year-old man on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Police Captain Michael Bauer says Connor Morris was the sole occupant of a car observed running a stop sign at the intersection of Queen City Boulevard and Georgia Avenue. Inside the car, the arresting officer discovered several hundred dollars in cash, a digital scale, numerous baggies with marijuana residue and more than 1.5 ounces of marijuana. Morris was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
