Three Injured In Highway Collision

ENOLA - A Norfolk woman was lifelighted from the scene of a traffic collision Monday afternoon near Highway 81 and the Enola Road south of Norfolk. The Norfolk Daily News reports Rhonda Severson's car collided with another vehicle as she was attempting to turn from the Enola Road north onto the highway. The Madison County Sheriff's Office reports Severson, 45, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car. Two child passengers in her vehicle were restrained in safety seats, but were injured. They were transported to Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. The driver of the other vehicle, Kevin Larsen, 50, of Little Falls, Minnesota was not injured. He was wearing a seat belt. The sheriff's office reports traffic was delayed southbound on Highway 81 and was diverted onto Enola Road for some time.
