State Tax Revenue Expected To Increase

LINCOLN (AP) - The state board that forecasts Nebraska tax revenue predicts slow but steady economic growth will boost state revenues. The Nebraska Economic Forecasting Advisory Board estimated Thursday that the state's general fund will gain about $50 million during the current two-year budget which ends in 2013. Board members projected higher overall revenues based on reports from financial analysts, their observations of the economy and other factors.
