State Patrol Trooper to Speak at Farm Show

NORFOLK - A half-dozen presentations are on the schedule for the 27th Annual Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment show beginning Wednesday at the Chuck M. Pohlman Ag Complex at Northeast Community College.  Nebraska State Patrol Trooper Bill Price says his Thursday afternoon seminar will focus on helping farmers prevent theft from their operations.  Price will also discuss tractor and heavy-machinery safety, as well as Department of Transportation regulations to help area farmers avoid hauling violations.  Price’s presentation is set for 2 p.m. Thursday.  The Farm show begins Wednesday morning at 9 and runs through 5.  Thursday’s hours are 9 to 4.  There is no admission charge.  More than 130 vendors, live demonstrations and health screenings are also on the program.  The Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment Show is sponsored by NewsTalk WJAG and 106KIX.
