Stanton County officials arrest West Point man for 2012 burglary

STANTON - The Stanton County Sheriff’s office has arrested a 21-year-old West Point man on burglary charges following a lengthy investigation into a rural farm burglary south of Pilger that occurred in 2012.  According to Stanton County Sheriff, Mike Unger, Aaron Ellinghausen was arrested after he was identified as a suspect and some of the stolen items were recovered.  Ellinghausen was also in possession of other stolen items from the burglary at the time of his arrest.  Two additional suspects have been identified and efforts are underway to locate them.  The rural location was entered on several occasions by the suspects with items removed each time.  Ellinghausen faces a November court appearance on two counts of Burglary and Criminal Trespass.
