Chris Bosh has joined Dwyane Wade and LeBron James in opting out of his contract with Miami. The move was not unexpected, and gives the Heat a gigantic amount of financial flexibility to shop with when the free-agent window officially opens at midnight tomorrow.  James opted out of his contract last Tuesday, and Wade did the same on Saturday.  While they've opted out of their contracts, none of the three has expressed true interest in leaving the franchise after taking the Heat to four straight NBA Finals.

Clayton Kershaw capped off a terrific month of June by helping the Los Angeles Dodgers move into a virtual first-place tie with rival San Francisco in the National League West. Kershaw ran his career-best scoreless streak to 28 innings and improved to 9-2 by scattering five hits in seven innings of the Dodgers' 6-0 shutout of St. Louis. Kershaw struck out 13 to close out a month in which he was 6-0 with a no-hitter, a 0.82 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 44 innings.

Justin Rose won the Quicken Loans National at Congressional in a playoff over Shawn Stefani.  Rose two-putted for par on the final hole, while Stefani made double bogey. Both were 1-under in the final round and 4-under through regulation.

Wimbledon resumes this morning following the traditional Sunday layoff. Men's third seed and defending champion Andy Murray takes on Kevin Anderson in a fourth-round match, and fifth seed Stan Wawrinka battles Denis Istomin in third-round play. The best matchup on the women's side has fifth seed Maria Sharapova against No. 9 Angelique Kerber in a fourth-rounder.

Kansas City beat the Los Angeles Angels 5-4 on Omar Infante's RBI single off newly-acquired Jason Grilli in the bottom of the ninth.
