Marcus Paige scored all 13 of his points in the second half to spark unranked North Carolina past fifth-ranked Duke 74-66 for the Tar Heels' eighth straight victory.  Now Duke now has less than two days to prepare to host top-ranked Syracuse, which is coming off its first defeat of the season, an overtime loss to Boston College on Wednesday.

A bloody nose to LeBron James was about the only thing that went wrong for the Miami Heat last night.  The Heat superstar scored 33 points before suffering a bloody nose during a dunk in the Heat's lopsided 103-81 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Terran Petteway scored 26 points to lead five Nebraska players in double figures, and the upstart Cornhuskers defeated Penn State 80-67 last night for their fourth straight win and seventh in nine games.  The Cornhuskers have won four straight conference games for the first time since 1998-99 and has matched its victory total of last season.  They are over .500 in the Big Ten for the first time since joining the league in 2011.  Nebraska has held its last four opponents to 36% shooting and an average of 56.3 points.  They are now 15-10 overall and 7-6 in the Big Ten while Penn State drops to 13-14 overall and 4-10 in the conference.

Trey Norris's free throw with one second left lifted South Dakota over Nebraska-Omaha 87-86 last night.  Norris made one of two free throws after being fouled by Marcus Tyus, just moments after Caleb Steffensmeier nailed a pair of three-pointers to tie the game at 86 with 19 seconds left.  Tyler Flack led the Coyotes with 21 points on 7-10 shooting.  The Mavericks were led by CJ Carter's 19, while Mike Rostampour added 18 points and eleven rebounds.  South Dakota improves to 11-15 overall and 5-6 in the Summit while Nebraska-Omaha drops to 15-12 overall and 4-7 in the conference.
