Nebraska Amateur Championship continues at Norfolk Country Club

1999 champion David Clouse of Friend and Renen Sahr of Gordon are co-leaders following 54-holes at the 106th Nebraska Amateur Championship at Norfolk Country Club.  They are both shooting -7 (209).  At 54, Clouse looks to become the tournament's oldest winner surpassing Tom Olson of Omaha who won in 1997 at 51.  Sahr is seeking his first state title.  Seven golfers sit within five shots of the lead.  A total of 13 golfers are under-par.  Brunswick’s Sam Meuret is tied for fourth place at -3 (213).  Norfolk’s Lance Lawson and Wayne’s Joey Baldwin is at -2 (214), Norfolk’s Lance Morrow has carded a 217, O’Neill’s Kris Koelzer has shot 219, Columbus’ Nathan Fuerhoff is at 224, Columbus’ Brady Vancura has shot 225, Schuyler’s Clint Kracl is at 233.  Tomorrow's final round is gets underway at 7:00 AM.  The final group with Clouse and Sahr begins play at 11:30.
