Former Norfolk High basketball standout transfers to Northeast CC

The coaching staff of the men's basketball team at Northeast Community College has signed three additional recruits to play for the Hawks this season.  Tremain Monroe, a 6' guard from Norfolk and Jabbar Washington, a 6'1 guard from Michigan City, Indiana, will join the upcoming roster this season.  Oral Rahming, a 6’7 forward from the Bahamas, with also join the Hawks.  A graduate of Norfolk High, Monroe averaged 13.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Panthers during their 24-2 season last year.  Monroe was earlier committed to Wayne State to play basketball and changed his commitment to Northeast.  Washington graduated from Michigan City High School in Indiana where he averaged 12.3 points per game his senior year.  Rahming attended Southwest Florida Christian Prep this past season.
