Soils Fertility Specialist Part of 2013 Farm Show
NORFOLK - UNL Soils Fertility Specialist Charles Shapiro will discuss how the drought affected nitrogen use during the Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment Show January 16th and 17th in the Chuck M. Pohlman Ag Complex in Norfolk. Shapiro is recommending that producers do soil tests in the spring before applying any nitrogen to their fields. His presentation will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16.
