Sioux Falls Couple Arrested with 11 Pounds of Marijuana

VALENTINE - A traffic stop on Highway 83 near Valentine Tuesday morning led to the seizure of 11 pounds of marijuana and the arrest of two people from South Dakota. Nebraska State Patrol spokesman Deb Collins says a trooper stopped a northbound 2006 Dodge Charger around 8:30 Tuesday morning 20 miles south of Valentine. The car had no license plate and the trooper detected the odor of marijuana during the stop. Marijuana was found in several duffle bags in the trunk. Collins reports that Reginald Willett, 24, and Cassandra Asfeha, 24, both of Sioux Falls, were arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and taken to the Cherry County Jail.
