Search Underway for Missing North Bend Man
SCHUYLER - Search and rescue efforts are under way for a missing Colfax County hunter. Colfax County Attorney Denise Kracl says Leroy Bird, 68, of North Bend was reported missing by his family when he failed to return home last night. His family told authorities that Bird left to go to a cabin near the Platte River outside of Rogers on Tuesday morning. The search for Bird began Tuesday evening, and is continuing today.
