Search Plans in Place for Norfolk Senior High Principal

NORFOLK - Work is underway to find a new principal for Norfolk Senior High.  At a recent meeting of the Board of Education, Superintendent Dr. Jami Jo Thompson said a survey will be posted on the school’s web site to elicit feedback from staff, parents and students regarding the characteristics they would like to see in the next high school principal.    Thompson says she and Director of Teaching and Learning Beth Nelson will be in the High School conference room from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. December 17th to meet with staff who would like to provide feedback on the position in person. On December 18th, they will be available at the same time to meet with students.  Thompson says advertising for the position will begin in January, with interviews in mid to late February.  The person hired will replace James Lake, who resigned in October after just a little more than year with the district. Jake Luhr is serving as acting Senior High Principal.
