Salvation Army feeds kids during the summer
NORFOLK - Kids who depend on school lunch programs sometimes go hungry during the summer. Norfolk’s Salvation Army is addressing that problem with its Kids Cruisin’ Kitchen Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:15 at Central Park. Salvation Army Captain R.C. Duskin says volunteers are needed and food donations are always welcome, especially meat products. The Salvation Army’s Food Kitchen is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 to 12:30. For more information, you can stop by the Salvation Army at 112 North 7th Street or give them a call at (402) 379-4663.
