Sacred Heart's 41st annual parish festival set for Sunday

NORFOLK -  For the 41st consecutive year, Sacred Heart Parish is hosting its parish festival.  It’s 15 hours of fun beginning with a bake sale at 8 a.m.  They’ll wrap things up at 11 p.m.  The festival mass is scheduled for St. Mary’s Church at 11:30 a.m.  Lunch will be served from 10:30 to 3; you’ll have a choice between chicken, roast beef and authentic Mexican cuisine.  Musical and dance performances will be going on all day on the grand stage.  The 2nd annual Holy Smoke Barbeque Cook-Off, a beer garden, a raffle, polka music, a watermelon feed, and a kids’ carnival are just a few of the things going on.  The Sacred Heart Parish Festival takes place on the grounds of Norfolk Catholic High School.  For more information, go to the website
