Roof reparis continue at Norfolk Senior High

NORFOLK - Students and teachers at Norfolk Senior High will have a few disruptions to deal with for the first week of school as crews continue to work on roof repairs.
At Monday night's meeting of the Norfolk Public School Board, Associate Superintendent for Student Services Doug Witte said work is not yet completed in the two major north-south hallways of the senior high building where 16 classrooms and some lockers are located. He says the roof work will necessitate a rotation of classes.  Witte says lockers will not all be accessible, and some students may have to carry all of their books until the roof repairs are completed. And, because the six classrooms at the north end of the hallways will still be used, students will have to walk outside to get to those classrooms during the construction.  Witte says if the weather cooperates, the work should be completed by about Thursday of next week.
