Researcher Speaks At Area Cattle Conference

HOWELLS - Her hypersensitivity to sound and touch may have helped Dr. Temple Grandin figure out that cattle notice visual details. Today, about half of all cattle slaughtered in the United States are handled through systems the Colorado State animal science professor helped design. Grandin was the featured speaker at the second annual Central Plains Beef Industry Day in Howells.
