Reckless Driving Results in 3rd Offense DUI Arrest

NORFOLK - A 30-year-old Norfolk man has been charged with third offense driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .15. Police Captain Mike Bauer says Christopher Fowler was arrested at 12:43 this morning after a witness reported a vehicle accelerating rapidly in the 300 block of West Northwestern Avenue, causing the vehicle to fishtail. Bauer says an officer witnessed the same driving behavior as the vehicle headed north on South 1st Street. Fowler was arrested for DUI with the enhanced blood alcohol level and cited for having an open container and for reckless driving. He was taken to the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail
