One-Vehicle Accident Sends Four Teenages to Hospital
NORFOLK- A one-vehicle accident sent four area teenagers to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Stanton County Sherriff Mike Unger says the accident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. Friday afternoon when the eastbound car left Highway 275 about 5 miles east of Norfolk. The vehicle traveled about 100 yards off the roadway before striking an embankment. The driver of the vehicle, 18-year-old Justin Massey, refused treatment at the scene. The four passengers were all taken to Faith Regional Health Services by Norfolk Fire and Rescue. The vehicle is consider to be a complete loss. All occupants of the car were wearing their seatbelts, which is credited with lessening the severity of their injuries.
