Omaha man dies after hunting accident

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a 48-year-old Omaha man has died following a weekend hunting accident near Macy, in northeast Nebraska.  The state Game and Parks Commission says the man was shot in the buttocks with a rifle on Sunday while hunting with four other people. The incident took place on the Omaha Indian Reservation, where an early deer-hunting season was in progress.  The man was taken to a Winnebago hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An autopsy has been ordered.
