Olympian Jeremy Scott in Norfolk Saturday

NORFOLK - Olympian Jeremy Scott, a native of Norfolk, will be in the city Saturday for the Lions Club Parade and Oktoberfest. Scott will ride on the Norfolk Daily News float in the parade, which starts at 10 a.m. at Norfolk Senior High. The parade route runs south on 4th Street to Madison Avenue, west on Madison to 5th Street, and north on 5th back to the High School. After the parade, from noon until 1:30 p.m., Scott will sign autographs and pose for photos outside the Chamber building at 7th and Norfolk Avenue. Special Jeremy Scott Olympics t-shirts will be available for purchase. At 2 p.m., Mayor Sue Fuchtman will present Scott with a key to the city. Scott qualified in the pole vault for the 2012 London Olympics, but did not advance to the finals
