Odds of Hitting a Deer in Nebraska Are Down
UNDATED - The odds of hitting a deer with your vehicle in Nebraska are now one-in-131, down 22-percent from a year ago. Ann Avery with State Farm Insurance, says the annual company study found the numbers of deer-vehicle crashes are down nationwide. Nebraska now ranks 19th among states where it's most likely to hit a deer - down from 14th last year. Avery says the worst three states for collisions with a deer are West Virginia, Montana and Iowa. The state where a deer-vehicle collision is least likely?? - Hawaii.
