NRD Representatives to Talk at Farm Show
NORFOLK - Regulations are being considered in three areas of the Lower Elkhorn Natural Resources District to deal with declining ground water levels during irrigation season. Curt Becker, NRD water resources specialist, will discuss proposed regulations and cost-share programs to help producers better manage irrigation during next week's Northeast Nebraska Farm and Equipment Show, hosted by NewsTalk WJAG. Becker's presentation begins at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Chuck M. Pohlman Ag Complex at Northeast Community College. Hours for the show are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday.
