NPPD Discusses Hoskins-to-Neligh Line
NORFOLK - A Nebraska Public Power District Project Team held the second round of open houses last night at the Lifelong Learning Center. NPPD plans to construct a 345,000-volt transmission line from the substation southwest of Hoskins to a new substation in the Neligh area. The 50-mile-long line is designed to enhance operation of NPPD's electric transmission system and provide additional opportunities for development of renewable energy projects.
