Northeast Community College Plans Extended Campus in O'Neill
O'NEILL - Northeast Community College has a full campus in Norfolk, the College Center in South Sioux City and a presence in the Nielsen Community Center in West Point. Now plans are in the works for an extended campus in O'Neill. At last week's meeting of the College Board of Governors, Northeast President Dr. Mike Chpps discussed the proposed $2.5 million dollar project in the western part of the college's 20-county service area. Dr. Chipps says the site has been chosen but the decision is not being made public at this time. Classes at the new facility could begin as early as the spring of 2015.
