Northeast College Board Approves Budget

NORFOLK - The Northeast Community College Board of Governors has approved budgets for the coming school year with a slight tax levy increase. At Thursday's budget hearing, Vice President of Administrative Services Lynne Koski said the majority of the increase in the budget will be used to pay for the day-to-day operational expenses of the college and to support the institution's priorities. She says the increase in the capital improvement budget comes from resources accumulated over several years with the one-cent levy allowed by state statute.
