Norfolk's Hospital Is A "Top Performer"

NORFOLK - A leading accreditation group of health care organizations in America has recognized Norfolk's hospital as one of the country's "Top Performers" in using "evidence-based clinical processes" shown to improve care in several areas such as heart attack, stroke and impatient psychiatric services, among others. Faith Regional Health Services is one of seven hospitals in Nebraska and 620 in the U.S. earning a "Top Performers on Key Quality Measures" by "The Joint Commission." Commission President Dr. Mark Chassin says such day-to-day progress will eventually transform today's health care system into one that achieves "unprecedented performance outcomes for the benefit of patients."
