Norfolk Students Do Well On ACT
NORFOLK - Norfolk Public School's 2012 high school graduates scored higher than their peers on the ACT college entrance exam. Bob Hastings, director of teaching and Learning for the Norfolk district, says the district's high school graduates scored 22.5 on average, compared to a state average of 22 and a national average of 21.1. He says NPS has concentrated on preparing students for the ACT. He says each additional point a student scores on the test can mean $1000 to $1500 in available scholarships.
