Norfolk Public Schools' Strategic Plan Presented to Board
NORFOLK - Action is the next step for members of the Norfolk Public Schools Board of Education as they work on a strategic plan. At Monday night's meeting of the Board, Strategic Planning Facilitator Dr. Larry Dlugosh said action is needed to reach any of the five goals recommended during a three-day session late last month. Board President Dr. Brad Krivohlavek promised the 32 people who took part in the planning session their work would not collect dust on a shelf. The five goals selected by the strategic planning group include: improving technology, working on career awareness, conducting a facility study, aligning curriculum with state and national standards, and raising the graduation rate to 81 percent.
