Norfolk Police Arrest Two for DUI, Other Charges
NORFOLK - Two Norfolk men were arrested for drunk driving over the weekend. Police Captain Mike Bauer says Ronald Tyler, 61, was arrested at about 7 p.m. Saturday evening near 6th and Elm for second offense driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .15 and for driving under suspension. At 11:23 p.m. Sunday night, Bauer says officers arrested Raymond Collins, 48, for first offense driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level above .15 and for disturbing the peace. Bauer says Collins was asleep in a car near 10th and Michigan with his music turned so loud that officers could hear it a block away. He woke up when officers reached inside his car and turned the volume down. Both Collins and Tyler were taken to the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
