Norfolk pilots allow 48 kids to experience flight

NORFOLK - Forty-eight kids got the chance to soar into the Norfolk skies Sunday morning as part of the Norfolk Chapter’s Experimental Aircraft Association’s Young Eagles program.  The pilots took kids up in their small planes for 20-to-30-minute flights around surrounding area.  Randy Neuharth with the EAA says the pilots enjoy giving the kids these experiences.  The Young Eagles program was held in conjunction with the EAA’s fly-in breakfast at the Norfolk Regional Airport.
