Norfolk Man Receives 30 Days For False Reporting
STANTON - A Norfolk man has been sentenced to 30 days in the Stanton County jail for False Reporting. Forty-three year old Kevin Broberg of rural Norfolk was sentenced in Stanton County court for his actions in December of 2013 at his residence east of Norfolk. According to Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger, Broberg lied to law enforcement officials about the location and condition of his girlfriend Keisha Spears who Stanton County Sheriff’s deputies found in the residence, unresponsive, physically restrained and tied with rope. Ms. Spears was later found dead at the same residence in April of this year and her death remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s office. Post-Mortem and toxicology results are still pending in connection to her death.
