Norfolk Man Dies In Accidental Shooting

NORFOLK (AP) - A Norfolk man is dead following an accidental shooting. Authorities were called to a residence on the east side of Norfolk at around 4 a.m. Saturday.  Madison County Attorney Joe Smith says when police arrived they found William Webbert, 21, dead of a gunshot wound. He says Webbert lived in the home where he was found. He says several other people were at the home in the 800 block of Boxelder Avenue when the accident happened. Smith wouldn't say whether drugs or alcohol were involved. He doesn't expect any arrests to be made.
