Norfolk Man Arrested for Theft, Possession of Meth

NORFOLK - A 21-year-old Norfolk man was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly stealing his parents' vehicle and being in possession of methamphetamine. Police Captain Leon Chapman says Jesus Miranda was arrested after his parents reported their 1999 Ford F-150 pickup was stolen. Officers located the pickup in the 500 block of South 1st Street, and Miranda was found hiding in a closet of the owner's daughter's room. He was in possession of a baggy with a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine. Miranda was taken to the Norfolk City Jail and transferred to the Madison County Jail Sunday morning.
