Norfolk Man Arrested for Domestic Assault
NORFOLK - Norfolk Police answered a physical domestic disturbance at 110 N. Pine Street, #3, just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday night. The female victim told police 24-year old Sean Barth of Norfolk had hit her with a closed fist on the right side of her face and had thrown a remote control that had hit her on the left side of her face. Officers say both areas had bruising and swelling. Two children were present during the altercation. Officers say Barth became uncooperative and aggressive toward them and said he did not comply with verbal orders and pulled his arm away from officers trying to handcuff him. Barth was arrested for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing a Police Officer and Child Abuse. He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
