Norfolk Fire Truck Finds New Home in Hadar
NORFOLK - The Norfolk Fire Division’s Engine 4 has a new home – just up the road in Hadar. The Norfolk Rural Fire Board recently purchased a new truck to replace the 1989 pumper. At this week’s meeting of the Norfolk City Council, Fire Chief Scott Cordes told the council there's not much resale value for a 25-year-old fire truck. The council approved the sale of the truck to Hadar for $1. The truck will replace a 1969 pumper that the Hadar Fire Department also got from Norfolk when the 1989 truck was purchased 25 years ago.
