Night of Pink Stars Will Raise Funds to Combat Breast Cancer
NORFOLK - “For the Girls” of Norfolk is hosting “A Night of Pink Stars.” The evening includes singer Michael Lyon, wine tasting, a raffle, hors d’oeuvres, oral and silent auctions, and a special feature this year: bros in bras. “For the Girls” co-chair Amanda Pietz says her group works with the Carson Cencer Center and that most of the funds raised stay in the Norfolk area, though some money will be sent to the American Cancer Society for research. "A Night of Pink Stars" is scheduled for the Norfolk City Auditorium Wednesday night, February 5th from 5:30 to 8:30. Tickets are $30, raffle tickets cost $10 and for $5, you can buy a pink star to recognize or memorialize someone who suffers or has suffered from breast cancer.
