New Health Care Clinic to Open Its Doors
NORFOLK - It was once a grocery store, then a farm products store, and then a printing plant. But today the building at 302 West Phillip in Norfolk is home to the Midtown Health Center, formerly the Norfolk Community Health Care Clinic. Executive Director Kathy Nordby says the full-service health clinic offers medical, dental and behavioral health services for those with insurance, Medicaid and Medicare, as well as those who have no insurance coverage. She says the new building is about twice the size of their former location in the Skyview Medical Building. Downtown business people are invited to a “sneak peak” open house Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. A general open house is planned Thursday from 3 until 7 p.m., with public tours and door prizes. Hours at the Midtown Health Center are 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 to 5 on Friday.
