New CEO Named at Faith Regional

NORFOLK - A Minnesota native has been named the new president and CEO of Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk. The boards of directors of Faith Regional Health Services and Lutheran Community Hospital Association have appointed Mark Klosterman to the post. Tim Auwarter has served as interim CEO at the local hospital since the resignation of James Sinek almost a year ago.  Klosterman will begin his new duties in Norfolk on July 28th. Klosterman is a graduate of South Dakota State University and holds master’s degrees in information technology and business administration. He has served as president and CEO of St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese Illinois since 2010, and before that headed Avera Gregory Healthcare Center in South Dakota and Franklin General Hospital in Hampton Iowa. Bernie Auten, chairman of the Faith Regional board, says Klosterman is an excellent fit for the hospital whose extensive knowledge and experience in healthcare will benefit Faith Regional as the hospital moves forward through healthcare reform changes. Klosterman and his wife, Stacie, have three daughters and will be moving to Norfolk in the near future.
