New Addition At West Point Hospital
WEST POINT (AP) - St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point will soon be getting a new addition that will give patients there more room in updated facilities. The hospital will not add to the 25 beds it currently has, but will get larger rooms with the $21 million addition. The 52,000-square-foot, four-story addition, dubbed the patient tower, is set for completion in February. The existing hospital, built in the 1950s, also is being remodeled. That plan includes renovation of two labor and delivery rooms, a new nursery, a new chapel and six remodeled patient rooms. The remodel is set to be completed in 2013.
