NECC, NPS Officials Meet

NORFOLK - Northeast Community College administrators met with Norfolk Public Schools leaders Monday.  Northeast President, Dr. Michael Chipps says he’s especially interested at Norfolk Senior High’s alternate high school and vocational technical programs.  The leaders also discussed the "career academy" concept which allows high school students to get a better look at possible careers at an early age, to help them determine what may and may not be good career fits.  There are 60 schools in Northeast’s 20-county area.  Chipps says he plans to meet with administrators at every one of them in the next three years.
